Ripstop 2.5L laminaat
Een waterdicht 2,5-laags laminaat met hoge stretch-eigenschappen, bestaande uit:

Het rugmateriaal is een beschermende laag voor de achterkant van het membraan, die niet als een hele laag kan worden geteld.
Held-Tex membraan
Alle klimaatmembranen hebben dezelfde basisfunctie: ze beschermen het lichaam tegen vocht van buitenaf, houden de wind buiten en transporteren lichaamszweet van binnen naar buiten door gebruik te maken van een temperatuurgradiënt. Dit geeft de kleding uitstekende eigenschappen op het gebied van bescherming tegen het weer en comfort.
Alle membranen zijn gemaakt van polyurethaan of polyester en transporteren waterdampmoleculen betrouwbaar naar buiten langs moleculaire ketens door middel van chemische en fysische processen. De niet-poreuze, homogene structuur laat geen wind door en voorkomt zo dat het lichaam afkoelt. Om een waterdichte constructie te garanderen, wordt elke individuele naad gelast met een speciale warmte-afdichtende tape, zodat er geen water van buitenaf door de naden kan binnendringen. Afhankelijk van het productmerk worden de membranen gemaakt van verschillende basismaterialen en meestal verwerkt als een losse film (“liner”) aan de binnenkant van jassen en broeken. Speciale materialen en specifieke verwerkingsrichtlijnen maken de membranen extreem duurzaam, rekbaar en zeer scheurbestendig.
D3O® Beschermers
D3O® protectors zijn gemaakt van een materiaal dat intelligente moleculen bevat die vrij bewegen onder normale omstandigheden. Dit maakt de beschermers zacht en flexibel in hun normale staat, waardoor ze comfortabel om het lichaam passen. Bij een plotselinge schok (zoals een val) sluiten de moleculen zich in een oogwenk, waardoor ze een uitstekende schokabsorptie hebben. D3O® beschermers reageren binnen een fractie van een seconde en keren na de schok net zo snel weer terug in hun oorspronkelijke staat. Dit proces kan zo vaak als gewenst worden herhaald zonder de prestaties van het materiaal te verminderen.
Held Protector Adjustment (HPA)-technologie
Held Protector Adjustment HPA maakt eenvoudige en gebruiksvriendelijke aanpassing van de beschermers mogelijk. Held-Tex membrane
All climate membranes have the same basic function: they protect the body from external moisture, keep out the wind and transport body sweat from the inside to the outside by exploiting a temperature gradient. This gives the clothing excellent weather protection and comfort properties.
All membranes are made of polyurethane or polyester and reliably transport water vapor molecules to the outside along molecular chains using chemical and physical processes. The non-porous, homogeneous structure does not allow wind to penetrate, thus preventing the body from cooling down. To ensure a waterproof construction, each individual seam is welded with a special heat-sealing tape so that no water can penetrate from the outside through the seams. Depending on the product brand, the membranes are made from different base materials and are usually incorporated as a loose film (“liner”) on the inside of jackets and pants. Special materials and specific processing guidelines make the membranes extremely durable, stretchy, and highly tear-resistant.
D3O® Protectors
D3O® protectors are made from a material that contains intelligent molecules that move freely under normal conditions. This makes the protectors soft and flexible in their normal state, allowing them to fit comfortably to the body. In the event of a sudden impact (such as a fall), the molecules close together in a flash, providing excellent shock absorption. D3O® protectors react within a fraction of a second and return to their original state just as quickly once the impact is over. This process can be repeated as often as desired without reducing the performance of the material.

Held Protector Adjustment HPA allows for easy and user-friendly adjustment of the protectors. By using Velcro with a scale, you can adjust the protectors quickly and precisely. This ensures optimal handling and individual adjustment to your needs.
