Dryway+2.0, Dryway+ en Dryway
Dryway+2.0, Dryway+ en Dryway zijn wind- en waterdichte membranen die u zelfs bij het natste en meest winderige weer droog houden. Het materiaal laat vochtdamp van binnenuit ontsnappen en houdt wind en regen buiten. Halvarssons' nieuwste functionele membraan, Dryway+2.0, heeft een waterdichtheidswaarde van 10.000 mm en een ademend vermogen van 30.000 gr./m2/24 h. Houd er rekening mee dat de werking van een membraan afhankelijk is van het verschil in vochtigheid tussen binnen en buiten. Als een externe warmtebron wordt toegepast, zoals verwarmde handgrepen of stoelen, zal het membraan omgekeerd werken.
OUTLAST®
Het werd oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld om astronauten te beschermen tegen extreme temperatuurschommelingen en is sindsdien verder ontwikkeld om ook in motorkleding te werken. De voering bestaat uit miljoenen microscopische paraffinewascapsules die overtollige warmte absorberen, opslaan en weer afgeven, zodat u zich onderweg comfortabel blijft voelen.
HI-ART
HI-ART is een door Halvarssons ontwikkeld materiaal. Het materiaal wordt vooral gebruikt op blootgestelde plaatsen om de slijtvastheid te verhogen. Het maakt leer 200 procent sterker en textiel maar liefst 500 procent. Halvarssons is bijzonder trots op hun uitvinding en op het feit dat zij de enige zijn die u deze oplossing kunnen bieden.
DWR
Een extra waterafstotende behandeling, op sommige van Halvarssons' textiel- en lederproducten, zorgt voor extra comfort voor de gebruiker. Kledingstukken die zijn behandeld met een DWR voeren water efficiënter af, behouden hun ademende eigenschappen en drogen sneller, terwijl ze ook gemakkelijker schoon te houden zijn.
Drievoudig gestikt
Een kledingstuk is nooit sterker dan zijn naden. Het maakt niet uit hoe goed het materiaal is als de naden breken. Na een groot aantal tests heeft Halvarssons een techniek gevonden die maximale duurzaamheid biedt. Ze gebruiken een uitgebalanceerde steekdichtheid, een zware, slijtvaste draad in drievoudig gestikte naden op blootgestelde plaatsen.
TFL Cool System®
Zwart leer kan gemakkelijk heet worden in de zon. Daarom gebruikt Halvarssons het TFL Cool System – een innovatie die ervoor zorgt dat zwart leder niet meer warmte absorbeert dan lichter gekleurde materialen. Na de behandeling wordt 80% van de warmtestraling weggekaatst en kan het kledingstuk tot 20 °C koeler zijn.

Dryway+2.0, Dryway+ and Dryway
Dryway+2.0, Dryway+ and Dryway are wind and waterproof membranes that keep you dry even in the wettest, windiest weather. The material allows moisture vapour to escape from the inside while keeping wind and rain out. Halvarssons' latest functional membrane, Dryway+2.0, has a waterproofing value of 10,000 mm and a 30,000 gr./m2/24 h breathability value. Keep in mind that a membrane function relies upon the difference in humidity between the inside and outside. If an external heat source is applied such as heated grips or seats, the membrane will work in reverse.
OUTLAST®
It was originally developed to protect astronauts against extreme temperature changes and has since then been further developed to work in motorcycle wear as well. The lining consists of millions of microscopic paraffin wax capsules that absorb, store and release excess heat to keep you feeling comfortable out on the road.
HI-ART
HI-ART is a proprietary material developed by Halvarssons. The material is especially used in exposed areas to increase abrasion resistance. It makes leather 200 per cent stronger and textiles no less than 500 per cent stronger. Halvarssons is extremely proud of their invention and of being alone in offering you this solution.
DWR
An extra water-repellent treatment, on some of Halvarssons' textile and leather products, provides additional comfort to the user. Garments treated with a DWR will shed water more efficiently, retain their breathability properties and dry faster while also being easier to keep clean.
Triple-Stitching
A garment is never stronger than its seams. It makes no difference how good the material is if the seams break. Following a multitude of tests, Halvarssons has found a technique that provides maximum durability. They use a well-balanced stitch density, a heavy-duty, hard-wearing thread in triple stitched seams in exposed areas.
TFL Cool System®
Black leather can easily become hot in the sun. Therefore, Halvarssons uses the TFL Cool System – an innovation that ensures black leather to not absorb more heat, than lighter colored materials. Once it has been treated, 80 per cent of the heat radiation is reflected away, and the garment can be up to 20 °C cooler.
