P/J Homologatie

Pinlock® mistwerend binnenvizier
Geleverd volgens segment. Dankzij het gepatenteerde verstelsysteem kan de stretch van het Pinlock® binnenvizier worden aangepast vanaf de buitenkant van het vizier, zonder dat het hoeft te worden verwijderd. De Full Silicone Border (FSB) zorgt ten eerste voor een vergroting van de luchtkamer tussen het binnen- en buitenvizier van de helm, waardoor het risico op beslaan verder wordt verminderd; ten tweede vermindert het de kans op krassen op het vizier.
VPS zonnescherm
Gegoten uit LEXAN™*, het is S/R (krasbestendig) en F/R (mistbestendig) behandeld en biedt UV-bescherming tot 400 nanometer. Het kan gemakkelijk worden verwijderd voor onderhoud en reiniging en is volledig verstelbaar. Het activeringssysteem (gepatenteerd) zorgt voor het automatisch intrekken van het zonnescherm in een stand-by positie, waardoor noodmanoeuvres die nodig zijn om snel het maximale zicht te krijgen dat het vizier biedt, worden vereenvoudigd.
Eendelige wangkussentjes
De interne vulling van geëxpandeerd schuim voor de wangkussentjes is ontworpen om superieure gelijkmatige druk en consistente prestaties te bieden in vergelijking met traditionele vulling. Het kan ook worden verwijderd uit de stoffen bekleding om het wassen te vergemakkelijken.
“Clima Comfort” binnenvulling
Een nieuw concept, de binnenvoering is gemaakt van microgeperforeerde stof met dubbele dichtheid. In combinatie met het “AirBooster Technology” bovenste ventilatiesysteem, verspreidt het lucht in het bovenste deel van het hoofd van de rijder. De nekrol is afneembaar, wasbaar en verstelbaar, waardoor hij gemakkelijk kan worden aangepast aan de vorm van de rijder en de verschillende set-ups die het gevolg zijn van verschillende rijposities.
Gegoten voering voor de binnenste wangkussentjes in polystyreen
De helm heeft een voorgevormde voering voor de binnenste wangkussentjes van polystyreen, die een preciezere pasvorm van de stoffen binnenste wangkussentjes mogelijk maakt. Deze voering, die het product een kwaliteitsafwerking geeft, vormt ook de behuizing voor de oortelefoons van het N-Com communicatiesysteem.Air Booster Technologie

De kinbeschermerrotatie met elliptisch traject maakt het mogelijk om de totale grootte van het voorste gedeelte van de helm tot een minimum te beperken wanneer de kinbeschermer geopend is. Het “sail”-effect wordt daardoor sterk verminderd en het rijcomfort blijft gegarandeerd, zelfs als de kinbeschermer omhoog staat.
Dual Action (gepatenteerd)
Exclusief Dual Action-systeem voor het openen van de kinbeschermer. Het zit in het midden van de kinbeschermer en kan gemakkelijk met één hand worden geopend. Het dubbele openingsmechanisme vermindert het risico dat de kinbeschermer per ongeluk wordt geopend: de kinbeschermer kan alleen worden geopend door de eerste ontgrendelingshendel (of veiligheidsslot) te bedienen en vervolgens de tweede hendel te activeren.
Microlock2 (gepatenteerd)
Het is een gepatenteerd retentiesysteem met dubbele hendel en micrometrische verstelling. Het bestaat uit een thermoplastische ergonomische openingshendel en een tweede aluminium getande en vasthoudende hendel. De getande hendel laat de micrometrische strip los, waardoor de kinband alleen kan worden geopend met een zeer ruime draaiing van de openingshendel. Deze voorziening minimaliseert de kans op onbedoeld openen van het bevestigingssysteem.

With this modular helmet, with dual certification, Integral (P) and Jet (J) and 180° rotating chin section, Nolan sets new standards with its innovative concept of flip-back technology. P/J Homologation
The helmet can be used either with the chin guard open (J configuration) or closed (P configuration), as the protective chin guard has passed the homologation tests required by UN/ECE regulations for full face helmets.
Ultrawide visor
The large surface of the S/R (scratch resistant) visor makes it possible to have a broader view, also lateral, thus highly increasing active safety.
Pinlock® fog-resistant inner visor
Supplied according to segment. Thanks to the patented adjusting system, the stretch of the Pinlock® inner visor can be adjusted, acting from the exterior of the visor, without the necessity of removing. The Full Silicone Border (FSB) allows first of all for an increase in the size of the air chamber located between the helmet exterior and interior, thus further reducing the risk of fogging; secondly, it reduces the risk of scratches to the visor.
VPS sunscreen
Molded out of LEXAN™*, it is S/R (scratch resistant) and F/R (fog resistant) treated and offers UV protection up to 400 nanometers. It can be easily removed for maintenance and cleaning and is fully-adjustable. The activation system (patented) allows for the automatic retraction of the sunscreen in a standby position, thus simplifying emergency maneuvers required to quickly obtain the maximum level of visibility offered by the visor.
Single-piece cheek pads
The internal padding in expanded foam for the cheek pads has been designed in order to provide superior even pressure and consistent performance over time compared to traditional padding. It can also be removed from its fabric coverings in order to make washing of the latter easier.
“Clima Comfort” inner padding
A new concept, the inner padding is made with double density micro perforated fabric. Combined with the “AirBooster Technology” upper ventilation system, it distributes air in the upper part of the rider’s head. The neck-roll is removable, washable and adjustable, consequently easily adaptable to the form of the rider and the various set-ups resulting from differing riding positions.
Molded lining for the inner cheek pads in Polystyrene
The helmet has a molded lining for the internal cheek pads in polystyrene, which allows for a more precise fitting of the fabric inner cheek pads. This lining, which gives the product a quality finish, also provides the housing for the earphones of the N-Com communication system.Air Booster Technology

The chin guard rotation movement with elliptical trajectory makes it possible to keep the total size of the helmet’s front section to a minimum, when the chin guard is open. The “sail” effect is consequently highly reduced and riding comfort is still guaranteed, even when the chin guard is lifted.
Dual Action (patented)
Exclusive Dual Action chin guard opening system. Positioned in the center of the chin guard, it allows for easy, one-handed opening. The dual action opening mechanism reduces the risk of accidental opening: the chin guard can be opened only operating the first release lever (or safety lock) and then activating the second lever.
Microlock2 (patented)
It is a patented double lever retention system with micrometric adjustment. It consists of a thermoplastic ergonomic opening lever, and of a second aluminum toothed and holding lever. The toothed lever releases the micrometric strip, thus the chin strap can only be open with a very broad rotation of the opening lever. This device minimizes the possibility of unintentional opening of the retention system.
Set up for N-COM Communication System
The helmet is set up and approved with installed N-Com communication system and with the innovative ESS (Emergency Stop Signal).
