KPA buitenschaal

Noodontgrendelingssysteem
Met het noodontkoppelingssysteem kunnen eerstehulpverleners de wangkussentjes van de helm verwijderen, zodat de helm met minimale beweging van het hoofd en de nek van een gewonde rijder kan worden gehaald. Idealiter houdt een tweede persoon de helm op zijn plaats terwijl de kussentjes worden verwijderd om te voorkomen dat de helm verschuift. Schuif je vinger door de rode lus en trek voorzichtig om de kussentjes te verwijderen. Trek de wangkussentjes over de riempjes en uit de helm.
Gekanaliseerd EPS
Gekanaliseerd EPS verwijst naar een speciale constructie van de EPS schuimlaag (geëxpandeerd polystyreen) in motorhelmen, die betere bescherming en comfort biedt. EPS is een lichtgewicht, schokabsorberend materiaal dat energie efficiënt verdeelt en vermindert bij een botsing.

Emergency release system
The emergency release system allows first responders to remove the cheek pads from the helmet so that the helmet can be removed from the head and neck of an injured rider with minimal movement. Ideally, a second person should hold the helmet in place while the pads are being removed to prevent it from moving. Slide your finger through the red loop and pull gently to remove the pads. Pull the cheek pads over the straps and out of the helmet.
Channelled EPS
