De Y.10 helm heeft een praktische snelsluiting met micrometrische verstelling, waarmee de helm snel en nauwkeurig kan worden afgesteld.
De helm is standaard voorbereid om te worden uitgerust met een intercomsysteem. De luidsprekeruitsparing is 45 mm.
