Shell
De schaal is gemaakt van ADT-Advanced, een mix van thermoplastische harsen met een zeer hoge slagvastheid, zorgvuldig ontworpen om ECE 22.06 goedkeuring te verkrijgen. Om te voldoen aan de behoeften van de meest veeleisende motorrijder, wordt STELLAR2 gemaakt in twee verschillende schalen (M en L).
Beschermend polystyreen
De interne schaal van polystyreen is gemaakt in drie maten (S, M, L) voor een betere ergonomie en is gemaakt in variabele dichtheden. Dit zorgt voor een geleidelijke en progressieve absorptie van de energie die door de impact wordt geproduceerd. Ook al wordt het grootste deel van de energie van de impact geabsorbeerd door de buitenschaal, dankzij de vervorming ervan, toch is de rol van polystyreen fundamenteel voor de absorptie van de restenergie. Door een verschillende dichtheid van polystyreen kunnen de mechanische prestaties van het schaal-polystyreen systeem worden geoptimaliseerd, waardoor een maximaal absorptieniveau in alle gebieden van de helm wordt gegarandeerd, zoals vereist door de strenge ECE 22.06 regelgeving.
Vizier
Het vizier is gemaakt van spuitgegoten, krasbestendig polycarbonaat met variabele dikte, eenvoudig te verwijderen dankzij een systeem waarvoor geen gereedschap nodig is. Het compacte viziermechanisme is ontworpen om het geheel steviger te maken. Het vizier is ook uitgerust met een “Racing Lock System” (Pat Pend) vergrendelingsmechanisme. Dit mechanisme vermindert de kans dat het vizier losraakt bij een botsing en maakt intuïtiever openen/sluiten mogelijk.
Zonnescherm
STELLAR 2 is uitgerust met een breed intern zonnescherm, met kabeltechnologie die zorgt voor een vloeiende beweging door middel van een knop aan de rand van de schaal die gemakkelijk met de linkerhand kan worden bediend.
Antifog systeem
STELLAR 2 is uitgerust met PINLOCK® MAX VISION 120, het best presterende antifogsysteem op de markt.
Ventilatie
Het is tijdens de heetste en meest veeleisende ritten dat maximale prestaties worden vereist van de helm, kunnen rekenen op een efficiënt ventilatiesysteem is van cruciaal belang door de rijder’s focus op een hoog niveau te houden. STELLAR 2 heeft vier luchtinlaatkanalen die samenwerken met een naadloos geïntegreerd afzuigkanaalsysteem, waardoor een uitstekende luchtstroom in de helm wordt gegarandeerd. De afzuiging van warme lucht is zorgvuldig bestudeerd; twee ingebouwde luchtafzuigers creëren samen met de achterspoiler een Venturi-effect door de warme interne lucht naar binnen te zuigen.
Binnenkant
De wangkussentjes en het interne comfort kunnen worden verwijderd, gewassen en vervangen. Ze zijn gemaakt van kostbare Hydrocool stof met specifieke vezels die de volgende eigenschappen bieden:
- Zweet van het hoofd afvoeren
- Houd fris en droog
- Lichte stof, zacht en ademend
De wangkussentjes zijn aanpasbaar en gemakkelijk te verwijderen in geval van nood dankzij het snelsluitsysteem.

De kin is voorzien van een micrometrisch gespbevestigingssysteem waardoor het bevestigingssysteem gemakkelijk los te maken is.

Shell
The shell is produced in ADT-Advanced, a mix of thermoplastic resins with very high impact resistance carefully designed to obtain ECE 22.06 approval. To meet the needs of the most demanding motorcyclist, STELLAR2 is made in two different shells (M and L).
Protective Polystyrene
The internal polystyrene shell is made in three sizes (S, M, L) to achieve better ergonomics and is made in variable densities. This feature allows for a gradual and progressive absorption of the energy produced by the impact. Even if most of the energy created by the impact is absorbed by the external shell, thanks to its deformation, the role of polystyrene is fundamental for the absorption of residual energy. A different density of polystyrene allows the mechanical performance of the shell-polystyrene system to be optimized, guaranteeing the maximum level of absorption in all areas of the helmet, as required by the strict ECE 22.06 regulation.
Visor
The visor is made of injection-molded, scratch-resistant polycarbonate with variable thickness, easy to remove thanks to a system that does not require any tools. The compact visor mechanism is designed to give greater solidity to the assembly. The visor is also equipped with a “Racing Lock System” (Pat Pend) locking mechanism. This mechanism reduces the possibility of the visor detaching in the event of a collision and allows for more intuitive opening/closing.
Sun shield
STELLAR 2 is equipped with a wide internal sun visor, with cable technology that ensures fluid movement through a button located on the edge of the shell that can be easily operated with the left hand.
Antifog system
STELLAR 2 is equipped with PINLOCK® MAX VISION 120, the most performing antifog system in the market.
Ventilation
It is during the hottest and most demanding journeys that maximum performance is required from the helmet, being able to count on an efficient ventilation system makes is crucial by maintaining the rider’s focus at high levels. STELLAR 2 features four air intake ducts that work in conjunction with a seamlessly integrated extraction channel system, ensuring excellent airflow within the helmet. The extraction of hot air is carefully studied; two embedded air extractors, together with the rear spoiler, create a Venturi effect by sucking in the hot internal air.
Interior
The cheek pads and the internal comfort can be removed, washed and replaced. They are made of precious Hydrocool fabric with specific fibers that offer the following features:
- Send away sweat from the head
- Keep fresh and dry
- Light fabric, soft and breathable
Cheek pads are customizable and easily removable in case of emergency thanks to the quick release system.
Retention system
The chin is provided with micrometric buckle retention system enabling an easy release of the retain system.
