De Carbon On View &; Aramid helmschaal combineert twee hoogwaardige materialen met duidelijk gedefinieerde functies. Zichtbaar carbon zorgt voor maximale stijfheid met een minimaal gewicht. De vezelstructuur blijft bewust open en is alleen afgedicht om te voorkomen dat de materiaaleigenschappen worden vervormd door dikke lagen verf.
Koolstof alleen is extreem stijf, maar kan bros reageren onder puntbelastingen. Dit is precies waar aramide om de hoek komt kijken. De sterke, hoogwaardige vezel heeft een scheurremmend effect, verdeelt impactenergie over een groter gebied en voorkomt abrupt falen van de schaal. Het resultaat is gecontroleerde vervorming in plaats van plotselinge breuk.

Een “second skin” effect dankzij een optimale pasvorm
De 3D-scanningcampagne resulteerde in een helminterieur dat is afgestemd op de morfologie van de rijder en optimaal comfort, ondersteuning en stabiliteit biedt. FIM 02
