Shell
De unieke methode voor de productie van schelpen gebruikt door SCchuberth zorgt voor een laag gewicht in combinatie met optimale stabiliteit. Direct Fiber Processing (DFP) is een innovatie ontwikkeld door Schuberth.
Het gaat om een eindeloze glasvezel wordt gesneden in stukken door een robot en wordt geblazen in een mal. Deze voorvorm wordt onder hoge druk gebakken in een verwarmbare mal met de toevoeging van een nauwkeurig gedefinieerde hoeveelheid hars om een uitzonderlijk stevige schaal te produceren.
De meerdelige constructie van de binnenvoering zorgt voor een uitstekende krachtabsorptie, waardoor de veiligheid wordt verbeterd.


Binnenvoering
De ShinyTex® binnenvoering is ontworpen om een veilige en comfortabele pasvorm te garanderen. De stoffen zijn sneldrogende, wasbaar en antibacterieel. Het naadloze hoofdkussen garandeert uitstekend draagcomfort. Een goede luchtcirculatie door multi-channel ventilatie zorgt voor extra koeling voor de drager. Uiteraard is de binnenvoering Öko-Tex 100 gecertificeerd, afneembaar en wasbaar.


Veiligheidstechnologie
  • De noodsnelle wangkussens kunnen indien nodig in één snelle beweging worden verwijderd, waardoor het gemakkelijk is om de helm af te doen.
  • Reflecterende oppervlakken op de helm maken de rijder nog beter zichtbaar in het donker.
  • De veilige double-D bevestiging past de helm weer opnieuw elke keer dat het wordt gedragen.


Ventilatie
Frisse luchtinlaten in het voorhoofd en kin gebieden zorgen ervoor dat de luchtcirculatie in de helm blijft comfortabel te allen tijde. De multi-channel ventilatie van de R2 zorgt voor een koel hoofd tijdens elke rit.


SC1: de volgende gerneratie van communicatievoor C4 en R2
Communiceren, praten aan de telefoon, het navigatiesysteem gebruiken, naar muziek luisteren – communicatie wordt nu ook heel eenvoudig op de motor. Uiterst eenvoudige installatie en onzichtbare technologie: de communicatie-eenheid is sleuven in de rand van de helm en is volledig verborgen. Microfoon en luidsprekers zijn vooraf geïnstalleerd in de helm.

Shell
The unique method for manufacturing shells used by SCchuberth makes for low weight combined with optimum stability. Direct Fiber Processing (DFP) is an innovation developed by  Schuberth.
It involves an endless glass fibre being cut into pieces by a robot and being blown into a mould. This preform is baked under high pressure in a heatable mould with the addition of a precisely defined quantity of resin to produce an exceptionally solid  shell.
The multi-part construction of the inner lining allows for  outstanding force absorption, thereby enhancing safety.


Inner lining
The ShinyTex® inner lining is designed to ensure a secure and comfortable fit. The fabrics are fast-drying, washable and antibacterial. The seamless head pad guarantees outstanding wearing comfort. Good air circulation through multi-channel ventilation provides additional cooling for the wearer. Of course, the inner lining is Öko-Tex 100 certified, removable and washable.


Safety technology
  • The emergency quick-release cheek pads can be removed in one swift movement if necessary, which will make it easy to take the helmet off.
  • Reflective surfaces on the helmet make the rider even more visible in the dark.
  • The secure double-D fastener readjusts the helmet fit afresh every time it is worn.


Ventilation
Fresh air intakes in the forehead and chin areas ensure that the air circulation within the helmet remains comfortable at all times. The multi-channel ventilation of the  R2 makes for a cool head during every ride.


SC1: the next gerneration of communicationfor C4 and R2
Communicating, talking on the phone, using the satnav, listening to music – communication now also becomes very simple on the motorbike. Extremely easy installation and invisible technology: the communication unit is slotted into the edge of the helmet and is completely hidden. Microphone and speakers are preinstalled in the helmet.
