The Trekon is made in large part of mesh fabric that forms Macna's Air Burst™ feature: a construction that spikes ventilation the moment you hit the gas. Its palm and outside the hand consist of goat leather and nubuck for high comfort. Touchscreens can be operated thanks to the heat-conductive fabric at the tip of the thumb and index finger. Its most unique feature is its Ergothumb™ construction, which reduces pressure points to raise comfort and provides a wrinkle-free look. The velcro at the short cuff lets you perfect its already superb fit.
Both the palm and knuckles are guarded by solid, impact-absorbing, and abrasion-resistant R.I.S.C.™ protection made of TPU. Impact-sensitive areas are reinforced with a second layer of fabric to provide a high level of abrasion resistance.

Back in the day, you needed to open up your main zip if you wanted to cool down. Luckily, those days are over as Macna’s gear has been fitted with ventilation zips, panels and outlets for many years now. But sometimes, all those options still weren’t enough.
That’s why Macna evolved their mesh fabric to the next level, or actually another dimension all together. The third-dimension mesh fabric of Air Burst™ creates a breathable layer between the body and outside of the shell, which enables a better intake of cool air to cool the body. 3D mesh also slows you down gently and in one piece before your skin comes into contact with the road.

EVA Protection
R.I.S.C. EVA protection consists of rubber foam underneath the outer shell. Protection with EVA padding is flexible and resilient as it recovers quickly from compression.
EVA foam excels in absorbing vibrations and impact forces. It is also characterized by its good thermal insulation as well as low water-absorption.
Other advantages are its softness, non-toxicity, stress-crack resistance and resistance to ultraviolet radiation which makes EVA suitable for many purposes.
Ergothumb™
Ride long enough and eventually anything in an ‘unnatural’ position will start to hurt. In this case, Macna doesn't blame you, but your gear. Traditional gloves simply aren’t designed to grab the handlebar and maintain that position, sometimes for hours on end.
Ergothumb™ is an ergonomic construction that prevents wrinkling, pressure points, and pain, due to the thumb and index finger being made of one and the same panel of fabric. This creates a preformed glove that’s in its ‘natural’ position when you are riding.
