The GP1 LS racing boot is the latest product from the Gaerne research and development center. This ultimate racing boot was developed in close collaboration with champions, the latest technological innovations, attention to detail and comfort, Italian styling, and over fifty years of passion and experience in racing.
The sporty look and robust materials have been specially adapted to the tough demands of racing. With the GP1 LS, you own a real racing boot that is used on the MotoGP race tracks.
The GP1 LS motorcycle boot is made of the supple, comfortable and breathable high-tech material Lorica. This model features the in-house GAERNE FLOATING system made of carbon material. The system is attached to the back of the boot at two points. It allows the wearer to move as naturally as possible while also ensuring that the foot cannot twist, without compromising flexibility. External protectors minimize the effects of a crash.
The already very safe features of the GP1 are complemented by an anti-shock heel insert. The shock-absorbing insert consists of a non-deformable polyurethane heel cup, which is additionally protected by a replaceable and low-friction magnesium cap. The anti-shock heel has an internal comfort-enhancing decompression zone located between the insole and sole. This is emphasized from the outside by the red inserts.
Thanks to the breathable, antibacterial and preformed inner lining, there is an optimal wearing comfort at all times. In addition to the microclimate, comfort and freedom of movement also play a major role. To this end, the developers integrated elastic inserts and a continuously adjustable calf width regulation system with the BOA closure system. These two features allow the wearer to adjust the boot perfectly to his foot.
To ensure that the boot is not damaged when the motorcycle is tilted and the required posture is adopted, there is a magnesium toe slider at the tip of the boot, which can be quickly and easily replaced. Finally, a multi-density sole provides optimal grip and thus prevents possible slipping. All in all, the GP1 LS offers the wearer optimal protection.
