Shell
De schaal is gemaakt van TRICOMPOSITE vezels, een nieuw composiet dat het mogelijk maakt om een lichtere, maar tegelijkertijd hardere en meer beschermende schaal te verkrijgen.
De nieuwe composiet is een mengsel van carbon met verschillende gewicht/ breekbelasting gekoppeld aan aramideharsen die zorgen voor een lichte maar veel beter bestand tegen schokken shell. Om zelfs de meest veeleisende klanten tevreden te stellen, wordt de KX-1 RACE GP geproduceerd in drie verschillende shells: S, M en L.
Beschermend polystyreen
Inwendige voering van polystyreen wordt gerealiseerd in vier maten (S, M, L en XL) voor een betere ergonomie en een variabele dichtheid.
Dit kenmerk zorgt voor een geleidelijke en progressieve absorptie van de kracht geproduceerd door de impact.
Ook al wordt het grootste deel van de door de impact veroorzaakte energie geabsorbeerd door de buitenschaal, dankzij de vervorming ervan, is de rol van polystyreen cruciaal voor de absorptie van de resterende kracht.
Een verschillende dichtheid van het polystyreen maakt het mogelijk de mechanische prestaties van de schaal-polystyreen te optimaliseren, waardoor een maximaal absorptieniveau in alle gebieden van de helm wordt gegarandeerd.
Vizier
Het vizier is van geïnjecteerd polycarbonaat, antikras, met variabele dikte. Gemakkelijk te verwijderen dankzij een systeem waarbij geen gereedschap nodig is.
De ontgrendelingshendel is gemaakt van een speciale metaallegering die de assemblage steviger maakt.
Het vizier is ook uitgerust met een vergrendelingsmechanisme “Racing Lock System” in metaallegering.
Het mechanisme vermindert de kans op losraken bij een crash.
KX-1 RACE GP is voorbereid op scheuren tijdens het racen.
Pinlock®
KX-1 RACE GP is voorbereid en uitgerust met PINLOCK® MAX VISION 120, het meest performante antifog systeem op de markt.
Ventilatie
Het is tijdens de heetste Grands Prix dat er het meest gevraagd wordt van de rijder, waarbij concentratie en uithoudingsvermogen vereist zijn. Kunnen rekenen op efficiënte ventilatie maakt dan het verschil.
KX-1 RACE GP heeft zeven luchtinlaatkanalen die samenwerken met een netjes geïntegreerd kanaalsysteem, waardoor een uitstekende luchtstroom in de helm wordt gegarandeerd. De warme lucht afzuiging is een wonder van aerodynamica: twee ondergedompelde luchtafzuigers, die samenwerken met de achterspoiler, creëren een Venturi-effect boven de uitlaatpoorten, waardoor de warme lucht naar buiten wordt gezogen.
Binnenkant
De wangkussentjes en de interne comfortvoeringen kunnen worden verwijderd, gewassen en vervangen. Ze zijn gemaakt van kostbare stof met specifieke vezels die de volgende eigenschappen bieden:
- zweet van het hoofd afvoeren
- houden fris en droog
- lichte stof, zacht en ademend
De wangpads zijn aanpasbaar en gemakkelijk te verwijderen in geval van nood dankzij het quick release-systeem. KX-1 RACE GP is voorbereid voor het camel-bag systeem.
Vastzetsysteem
Het gebruikte bevestigingssysteem is de "Double D-Ring" van lichtmetaal.

Shell
The shell is made of TRICOMPOSITE fiber, a new composite that allows to obtain a lighter but at the same time harder and more protective shell.
The new composite is a mixture of carbon with different weight/breaking loads linked up with aramid resins that ensure a light but much more resistant to impacts shell. To satisfy even the most exigent customers, KX-1 RACE GP is produced in three different shells: S, M and L.
Protective Polystyrene
Internal polystyrene liner is realized in four sizes (S, M, L and XL) to obtain a better ergonomics and a variable density.
This characteristic allows a gradual and progressive absorption of the power produced by the impact.
Even if the bigger part of the energy created by the impact is absorbed by the external shell, thanks to its deformation, the role of polystyrene is crucial for the absorption of the residual power.
A different density of the polystyrene allows optimizing the mechanical performance of the shell-polystyrene, ensuring the maximum level of absorption in all areas of the helmet.
Visor
The visor is polycarbonate injected, antiscratch, with variable thickness. Easy to remove thanks to a system that doesn’t require the use of any tool.
The release lever is made of a particular metal alloy that gives greater solidity to the assembly.
The visor is also equipped with a locking mechanism “Racing Lock System” in metal alloy.
The mechanism reduces the possibility of detachment in case of crash.

Ventilation
It is during the hottest Grands Prix that the most is asked to the rider, requiring concentration and endurance. Being able to count on efficient ventilation makes all the difference.
KX-1 RACE GP spots seven air intake ducts which work in conjunction with a neatly integrated channel system, guaranteeing excellent airflow inside the helmet. The hot air extraction is a marvel of aerodynamics: two submerged air extractors, working together with the rear spoiler, create a Venturi effect over the exhaust ports, drawing out the hot air.
Interior
The cheek pads and the internal comfort liners can be removed, washed and replaced. They are made of precious fabric with specific fibers that offer the following features:

- light fabric, soft and breathable
Cheek pads are customizable and easily removable in case of emergency thanks to the quick release system. KX-1 RACE GP is prepared for the camel-bag system.
Retention System
