These are well made boots made of heavy duty leather. They are well armored. Both my spouse and I were impressed with the quality of the product at the price I paid. I had started off looking at a different boot and settled on these as they had the features I wanted for $150 USD less than my original choice. I am looking forward to seeing how they hold up over a few years of use. Additionally, they have a raised heel and foot bed. This was essential for me as I have a 71cm inseam and my motorcycle seat is 830mm. The lifts give me the extra stability and confidence when riding in a variety of conditions. The traction on wet pavement has been good. I cannot speak to the waterproofing as I have not been caught in the rain or snow yet. Since I ride year round, the boots have been warm enough to ride in 0 degrees Celsius. They may be warm in the summer, but the protection is worth the non-ventilated boot in my opinion. The shipping also impressed my spouse and I as we live Wisconsin in the US. It took less than a week to arrive and I received frequent updates on the status of the shipment. I would be willing to use the vendor again if I need more gear.
