EXO R.I.S.C. bescherming
Om het comfort van onze producten en daarmee van motorrijders te blijven verbeteren, worden onze ontwerpers voortdurend uitgedaagd. Begin 2021 kregen ze de opdracht om opnieuw te kijken naar het ademend vermogen van protectoren.
Beschermers zijn vaak stevige hoezen die goed beschermen, maar op andere vlakken geen vijf sterren hebben. Omdat ze hard, schokabsorberend en slijtvast zijn, zal een protector waarschijnlijk laag scoren als het gaat om ademend vermogen en flexibiliteit.
Het vreemde is dat je lichaam vaak meer dan genoeg wind vangt, dus ademend vermogen hoeft geen probleem te zijn. Maar hoe gaan we een harde hoes buigen? Dit kan wel wat macnaficatie gebruiken.
R.I.S.C. TPR bescherming
R.I.S.C. TPR bescherming is thermoplastisch rubber verwerkt in de buitenkant. Bescherming gemaakt van TPR kan variëren in hardheid, maar voelt in de meeste gevallen (semi)zacht aan.
TPR is een combinatie van rubber en kunststof en heeft de voordelen van beide materialen. Hierdoor is TPR schokabsorberend en slijtvast.
Andere voordelen zijn de thermische eigenschappen en het feit dat het heel gemakkelijk kan worden gevormd en gekleurd, waardoor stijlvollere beschermers mogelijk zijn in vergelijking met traditionele beschermers.
R.I.S.C. EVA bescherming
R.I.S.C. EVA bescherming bestaat uit rubber schuim onder de buitenkant. Bescherming met EVA padding is flexibel en veerkrachtig omdat het snel herstelt van compressie.
EVA schuim blinkt uit in het absorberen van trillingen en stootkrachten. Het wordt ook gekenmerkt door een goede warmte-isolatie en een lage waterabsorptie.
Andere voordelen zijn de zachtheid, het is niet giftig, het is bestand tegen spanningen en scheuren en het is bestand tegen ultraviolette straling, waardoor EVA voor veel doeleinden geschikt is.
Gedehydrateerde bescherming
De beschermers zijn behandeld met een bacteriedodend en fris ruikend middel.
Synthetisch Nubuck
Geborsteld synthetisch leer dat zacht, flexibel en ademend is en eruitziet als echt suède.

EXO R.I.S.C. protection
In order to keep improving the comfort of our products and thus of motorcyclists, our designers are constantly being challenged. At the start of 2021, they were tasked to take another look at the breathability of protectors.
Protectors are often sturdy covers that protect very well, but lack a five-star rating in other areas. Being hard, impact-absorbent and abrasion-resistant is likely to make a protector score low when it comes to breathability and flexibility.
Strange thing is; your body often catches more than enough wind, so breathability doesn’t have to be an issue. How are we going to flex a hard cover, though? This could use some macnafication.
R.I.S.C. TPR protection
R.I.S.C. TPR protection is thermoplastic rubber incorporated in the outer shell. Protection made of TPR can vary in hardness, but has a (semi) soft feel to it in most cases.
TPR is a combination of rubber and plastic and has the advantages of both materials. This makes TPR impact-absorbent and abrasion-resistant.
Other advantages are its thermal properties and the fact that it can be molded and colored very easily, enabling more stylish protectors compared to traditional ones.
R.I.S.C. EVA protection
R.I.S.C. EVA protection consists of rubber foam underneath the outer shell. Protection with EVA padding is flexible and resilient as it recovers quickly from compression.
EVA foam excels in absorbing vibrations and impact forces. It is also characterized by its good thermal insulation as well as low water-absorption.
Other advantages are its softness, non-toxicity, stress-crack resistance and resistance to ultraviolet radiation which makes EVA suitable for many purposes.
Odorized protection
The protectors are treated with a bacteria-killing and fresh-smelling agent.
Synthetic Nubuck
Brushed synthetic leather which is soft, flexible, breathable and has the look of real suede.
