Bowtex garments are made from high-performance stretch materials. This provides an additional 2–3 cm (approx. 1 inch) of flexibility in the chest area, beyond the measurements listed in the size chart. Please take this stretch into account when selecting your size.
Between Two Sizes?
If your measurements fall between two sizes, Bowtex recommends choosing the larger size to ensure a more comfortable fit.
Airbag Compatibility
The airbag is worn OVER the jacket
Stick to your regular size according to the size chart.

Bowtex strongly recommends choosing one size larger to ensure sufficient space for the airbag system to deploy safely.
General Notes on Pants
Inseam
Bowtex leggings are designed with a fixed inseam length of 30“ (men) or 28” (women). Please note that these are protective undergarments and not conventional jeans. They are designed to end at the malleolus (ankle bone) to ensure maximum comfort and prevent them from bunching up inside motorcycle boots or socks.
Placement of Protective Elements
Thanks to the highly elastic, skin-tight fit, the knee protectors stay in the correct position on their own. You can easily fine-tune the position of the protective elements after putting on the leggings to ensure they fit your knees perfectly.
