Racing art in every shell
The carbon fiber shell of the new E2 Carbon is made using the same advanced lay-up and autoclave curing techniques as our racing helmets. The key difference: each shell is handcrafted by the same highly skilled technicians who make the helmets of the reigning Formula 1 world champion.
One technician, one shell
The carbon shell manufacturing process follows the “one technician, one shell” principle. This means that the same technician who starts the lamination process is also responsible for the entire production of the shell.
High performance through autoclave curing
Once the lamination process is complete, the carbon mold is sealed and transferred to the vacuum station, where specialized employees carefully wrap and vacuum the mold to prepare it for the autoclave curing process.
The SCHUBERTH PERFORMANCE autoclaves apply a precisely controlled combination of pressure and temperature for a period of up to four hours. This process bonds the carbon fiber layers and resin into a solid, monolithic structure that ensures exceptional mechanical strength with minimal weight.
Adjustable peak
The new peak of the E2 Carbon was developed in the SCHUBERTH wind tunnel to minimize vibrations and turbulence. The E2 Carbon offers various configurations: not only can the peak be adjusted to three positions, it can also be easily removed.
It's the small details that make a SCHUBERTH helmet stand out. First introduced on the E1, the memory function is also present on the E2 visor and peak. This feature ensures that the selected position of the peak is retained after opening and closing the chin guard.
Maximum ventilation for all-day comfort
For long-distance comfort, whether on or off the road, effective ventilation and temperature regulation are crucial.
The new SCHUBERTH E2 has double chin ventilation. The upper ventilation prevents fogging of the visor in cool conditions, while the lower ventilation provides additional air flow in extreme heat. Since off-road adventures often involve dust, mud and insects, the chin vent has a washable and replaceable filter to keep the helmet clean and comfortable.
Advanced head ventilation
The E2 redefines ventilation and offers an upper ventilation system that can be adjusted to two positions, as well as a newly designed, enlarged spoiler with an air outlet that ensures optimal air circulation even in extreme conditions.
Safety first
At SCHUBERTH, safety is our top priority. The E2 Carbon, with its full carbon shell, offers exceptional mechanical strength at an amazingly low weight. In addition, it has P/J double homologation and meets the strict requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 standard.
Like all SCHUBERTH helmets, the E2 Carbon is equipped with the Anti-Roll-Off system, and the chin strap is placed in an advanced position to improve comfort in the neck area.
Communication system (optional)
The most advanced technology designed specifically for your SCHUBERTH E2 Carbon. Extremely easy to install, configure and use, the SC communication systems set new standards in motorcycle communication. The HD speakers and three antennas for FM radio, Bluetooth intercom and mesh intercom are already pre-installed.
Installation is extremely simple: plug in the HD BOOM microphone, remove the covers on the back of the helmet and the cover for the remote control, connect everything, turn it on – and you're ready to go!
